The year 2005 proved to be highly competitive for the magazine market overall, with a 5% drop in advertising billings in the glossy women's magazine market. Nevertheless, ELLE and CLEO managed to maintain 2004-level market shares while MARIE CLAIRE gained 2 points. Further supporting our position as Thailand's leading publisher of international women's titles, magazines in the portfolio were named as three of the top four bestselling titles by Se-Ed's independent annual research. For 2006, Hachette Filipacchi Post, Hachette Filipacchi Post-ACP, and HFPost-MC will continue to develop and diversify ELLE, ELLE Decor, CLEO and MARIE CLAIRE, both in terms of marketing and editorial. In all this, it will be well supported by new general manager, Mr. Suchakorn Gra-Tes, and the vast experience of our existing teams. |
