2005 was another successful year for The Post Publishing Plc's commercial printing operation, Allied Printers. This continuing success resulted from the combined efforts of all sections, coupled with effective cost-control measures. The year also saw continued expansion of the circulations of the Bangkok Post and Post Today, resulting in a marked increase in internal printing revenue. Nevertheless, Allied Printers achieved total sales revenue of Baht 170 million, thus showing an encouraging trend for the future. Despite intense competition in the commercial printing industry in Thailand, Allied Printers managed to reduce its expenses by almost 4%. To those familiar with the commercial printing industry in Thailand, the name of Allied Printers continues to be synonymous with reliability, quality and good service. With heightened activity forecast throughout the Thai economy, Allied Printers stands poised for future expansion while continuing emphasise production efficiency, printing excellence, prompt delivery and customer service. |
