Mr. David Armstrong, Chief Operating Officer of Post Publishing Plc, presided over a presentation ceremony to give out the awards for the Bangkok Post’s and Post Today’s Thailand's Top Destinations vote campaign . The ceremony was held at the company’s boardroom on November 12. Mr Armstrong was assisted by company executives.
Over 200 entries were submitted by university students and interested members of the public, both Thai and foreigners. The winner was Khun Theeraphong Arromkhong who was awarded 30,000 baht in cash and a certificate. The three runner-ups were Khun Roj Rujanavej, Khun Supawat Sripen, and Khun Tanyathip Siriruttanaprapan. They were each awarded a consolation cash prize of 5,000 baht and a certificate.
“I decided on the elephant because it is not only a symbol of Thailand but back in the old days, it was also used for transportation and travel,” winner Khun Theeraphong explained “Although it took me only about one day to design the logo, coming up with the inspiration and concept took quite a while”.

SET-listed Post Publishing Plc, publisher of the Bangkok Post, Post Today and M2F newspapers, will acquire a 51% stake in medium-sized TV content provider Mushroom Television Co in a bid to reinforce its TV business.
Suthikiati Chirathivat, chairman of SET-listed Post Publishing Plc, has added another 5.5% to his stake in the company, raising his holding to 24.7% and making him the largest shareholder.
