To build confidence among advertisers, M2F readers held an Agency Brief under the heading of ‘M2F TOTHE MAX’.
The Post Publishing Public Company Limited President and Chief Operating Officer Supakorn Vejjajiva gave a welcome speech and talked about the objectives of organising the event. He explained that for the past seven months, M2F newspaper has been given free to Bangkok residents. The feedback has been very impressive and the publication has quickly become widely popular. Moreover, M2F has a print run of 400,000 copies per day and around 2 million readers per day. The Hongkong Audit Bureau of Circulations Ltd. (HKABC), the audit bureau of print runs and distributions of newspapers and global-leading magazines in Asia, has audited M2F and confirmed its distribution of 400,000 free copies. The audit took place from 1 February to 30 April and will be repeated every three months. In light of its success so far, M2F’s print run will be increased, as will the number of distribution points, so as to cover more readers in the target group.
In holding M2F TOTHE MAX agency brief, more agencies came to understand the reach of M2F and have confidence to place their clients’ advertisements in it. The opportunity was also taken to nurture and consolidate The Post’s existing good relations with the advertising community. It was further explained that ever since it was launched, M2F has actively cultivated relations with advertisers and consumers through such events and activities as M2F Smart Vote which had over 500 applicants, and Songkran Festival, in cooperation with Bangkok Metropolitan Administration and Central World, which drew over 100,000 participants, to give two examples. More such activities are planned, including taking mother for a walk, coming in August, M2F newspaper’s 1st anniversary celebration, in October, and M2F Treasure Hunt in November. Such events will encourage more readers to join, not least by offering some great prizes.
