M2F Presents Bangkok Songkran Festival 2015 @ CentralWorld
Friday April 10, 2015

In what has become an annual fun-filled event, M2F, Post Publishing’s free daily newspaper, is throwing the “M2F Presents Bangkok Songkran Festival 2015 @ CentralWorld” party.
The plaza in front of CentralWorld will be turned into a revelry zone from Monday through Wednesday, from noon to 10pm. M2F, with the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration, Oishi, Coke and True Corporation, wishes to to promote the tradition of Songkran as part of Thailand’s national identity, and to focus on a culturally appropriate way to enjoy the festival — without alcohol. The organisers aim to make this one of the largest Songkran celebrations in the capital.
The Carnival Zone will feature carousels, a Ferris wheel, a rock-climbing wall and other amusement park-style games and rides. The Entertainment Zone will host free concerts by Thai bands Big Ass (Apr 13), Jetset’er (Apr 14), and Potato (Apr 15).
Get wet and wild at the Water World Zone. The Foam Party Zone is a bubbly area where everyone can get frothy and enjoy concerts by bands such Tattoo Colour, Getsunova, Mild, Slot Machine and dance music spun by leading DJs.
“This is the fourth straight year of staging M2F Presents Bangkok Songkran Festival @ CentralWorld, following the strong response to the three previous years. Crowds of locals and tourists have shown overwhelming enthusiasm for participating in the event,” said Post Publishing Public Company Limited’s COO Supakorn Vejjajiva.
