Forbes Thailand focus on wellbeing megatrend highlights investment opportunities
Forbes Thailand, a monthly Thai language magazine that presents the stories of leading entrepreneurs and executives to inspire success seekers, together with TISCO Wealth, the one-stop wealth management service provider of TISCO Group, the financial and investment leader, held the “Forbes Thailand Alternative Investments 2019: Investment Opportunities in Wellbeing Megatrend & Advancement in Regenerative Medicine and Anti-Aging” on 31 January 2019 at The Athenee Hotel, A Luxury Collection Hotel, Bangkok.
The event featured capital market guru Mr. Paiboon Nalinthrangkurn, Chief Executive Officer of TISCO Securities Co., Ltd., joining experts in the healthcare industry, including Mr. Raymond Chong, Chief Executive Officer of BDMS Wellness Clinic, and Dr. Tanupol Virunhagarun, Chief Operating Officer and Director of BDMS Wellness Clinic, to discuss investment opportunities pertaining to “Wellbeing Megatrend & Advancement in Regenerative Medicine and Anti-Aging”.
Forbes Thailand Alternative Investments is an exclusive event for TISCO 200 Private Wealth customers. Also attending were senior executives from the Bangkok Post, Forbes Thailand and TISCO Group such as Mr. Worachai Bhicharnchitr, Mr. Sakchai Peechapat, Mr. Metha Pingsuthiwong, Mr. Picha Ratanatam, Mr. Pichaya Changsorn, Ms. Pavinee Ongvasit and Mr. Theeranat Rujimethapass, and other honoured guests.
The event began with a warm-up performance by "Suanplu Chorus Band" which preceded the dialogue period hosted by Dr. Wit Sittivaekin. Dr. Tanupol. The discussions covered the latest advances in anti-aging medicine and health care tips, placing Preventive Medicine, not cures, as the top priority. Before health problems occur, attendees were advised, it is important to have a health check using medical technology in combination with healthy living with specialist doctors acting as life coaches.
Mr. Raymond gave an overview of the global healthcare and wellness industry and explained the services provided by BDMS Wellness Clinic. He emphasised his conviction that Thai health maintenance is on par with the best in the world.
Mr. Paiboon noted that current statistics indicate that the middle class population in Thailand is continuously expanding with purchasing power rising commensurately. Almost every country is stepping into an aging society, he observed. This, he said, was turning wellbeing into a megatrend and, therefore, a long-term investment opportunity for those who see the possibilities and act first. Investing in previous megatrends such as e-commerce provided high returns and wellbeing will be the same. “You just have to choose the right company and look carefully at the management policy,” he said.
Forbes Thailand Alternative Investments 2019 went down as another great success. Focusing on a global megatrend megatrend with unprecedented investment opportunities, it was well-received by all the speakers and honoured guests alike.
