ELLE Thailand, the magazine for women to follow the trends in fashion, beauty and lifestyle, published by Post International Media Company Limited, collaborated with ZEN Department Store, to present "ELLE THAILAND BEAUTY AWARDS 2019" for beauty products. The awards are selected by a panel of experts in the beauty community to be the most suitable product for 2019. The event was organised for the second time in Thailand at ZEN Beauty, 1st floor, ZEN Department Store.
“In the digital age world, consumers can easily access information and technology to select products of quality that suit them,” said Poomchit Balankura, General Manager, Post International Media Company Limited. “But you need help to make the best decisions and that’s where ELLE Thailand comes in. This world-class magazine is like a fashion, beauty and lifestyle guru.”
To help satisfy this need, ELLE Thailand presents “ELLE THAILAND BEAUTY AWARDS 2019” for the second time. The awards reward the best beauty products from head to toe, as selected by professionals in the beauty industry as the most suitable for Thai consumers this year.
All the committee members are well-known and represent a range of areas. There are make-up artists, actors, presenters, models, medical specialists and beauty bloggers, plus the magazine’s editorial team who are well-versed in beauty so readers can be confident they get the best advice about products. To ensure objectivity judging was made according to standardised criteria.
ELLE Thailand magazine divided 26 awards into 3 groups:
-Group 1, ELLE Best Beauty Awards, 17 branches, Make Up, Body, Face and Hair Care Awards
-Group 2, ELLE Men’s Best Grooming Awards, 3 branches, Best Hair Styling, Best Face Care, Best Fragrance Awards
-Group 3, ELLE Readers’ Choice Awards, 6 branches, Best Lip Color, Best Fragrance, Best Base Make Up, Best Mascara, Best Eye Make Up, and Best Face Color
All award-winning products will be exhibited at the event which is a perfect opportunity for consumers to explore all the year’s most impressive beauty products.

Bangkok Post staff joined together to make merit during Buddhist Lent by donating polyethylene terephthalate (PET) plastic bottles to Wat Chak Daeng, Song Khanong Sub-district, Phra Pradaeng District, Samut Prakan Province. The bottles will be reprocessed to produce monks’ robes. The activity is part of a project initiated last year by Wat Chak Daeng in collaboration with PTT Global Chemical Public Company Limited (GC) to produce anti-bacterial monk’s robes from recycled PET.
